Membership Definitions
for
Tulane Cancer Center

Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium
Program Member
Has highest priority for participating in Center-based applications for grants and contracts and for utilization of the Center's resources.
- University faculty member with at least one active research program fitting the program objectives of the Center.
- Principal investigator of at least one research program extramurally funded by agencies recognized by the National Cancer Institute.
- Active participant in research, education and/or administration of the Center and a leader in promoting its development.
Contributing Member
Has priority for participating in Center-based applications for grants and contracts and for utilization of the its resources.
- University faculty member with at least one active research program fitting the program objectives of the Center.
- Active participant in research, education and/or administration of the Center and a leader in promoting its development.
Associate Member
Has access to the resources of the Center as well as the opportunity to participate in Center-based applications for grants and contracts.
- University faculty member, member of another educational and/or research institution or organization, or an individual who is interested in at least one of the programs of the Center.
- Regular participant in at least one of the functions of the Center.
