Twelfth Night
Tuesday, January 6, 1998 Twelfth Night, also called Epiphany or Three Kings Day is the last of the "twelve days of Christmas" and the first day of the Carnival Season, which culminates in Mardi Gras. "King Cake" is a round braided cinnamon loaf served at Carnival parties; it has a small plastic baby hidden inside. Whoever gets the piece with the baby in it has to bring the King Cake to the next Carnival party. |
