Look Good, Feel Better
The Look Good, Feel Better program is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the American Cosmetologic Association and provides sponsoring sites with two specially-trained, licensed cosmetologists to work with women who are being treated for cancer on makeup application, skin and hair care, and wig application. The ACS also provides a cosmetic kit for each attendee which they may take with them.

Golf Tournament to benefit the LCRC
On Monday, May 10, 2004, the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad will host its First Annual Benefit Golf Tournament in support of the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium (LCRC) at the English Turn Golf & Country Club. The format will be a four-golfer scramble with a shotgun start. All golfers will enjoy an afternoon that begins with a lunch buffet, followed by golf and ending with a steak dinner and awards ceremony at the English Turn Clubhouse.
