Look Good, Feel Better
The Look Good, Feel Better program is sponsored by the American Cancer Society and the American Cosmetologic Association and provides sponsoring sites with two specially-trained, licensed cosmetologists to work with women who are being treated for cancer on makeup application, skin and hair care, and wig application. The ACS also provides a cosmetic kit for each attendee which they may take with them.

The Tulane Cancer Center will proudly host an Open Door Session in conjunction with Tulane University Health Sciences Center's 170th Anniversary Celebration. Former residents and fellows, alumni and other friends are welcome to gather in the first floor atrium of the Location: J. Bennett Johnston Building, where they will have the opportunity to meet Tulane Cancer Center researchers and physician scientists who will review the cutting-edge cancer research currently taking place at Tulane. Tours of our cancer research laboratories will be provided. Attendees will also learn more about the exciting progress of the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium (LCRC), our partnership with LSU's Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center. The LCRC provides a structure in which Tulane University Health Sciences Center and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - the state's two leading medical research institutions - will work together and coordinate cancer research development in preparation for recognition as a National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated cancer center.
