between Cleveland St. and Canal St., and downriver (northeast) of Tulane Hospital & Clinic.
The entrance ramp to the garage is on the opposite side, on Saratoga St.; the pedestrian entrance is on So. Liberty St.

DIRECTIONS to the Tulane Cancer Center Comprehensive Clinic:
From the east: Follow I-10 west to the Canal/Superdome/Westbank exit. Follow the ramp, turning right onto Cleveland St. (under the I-10 overpass). Go four blocks to So. Saratoga St. and turn left.
From the west: Take Claiborne Ave. east toward the Superdome. Go up onto the I-10 overpass, staying on the right and down again onto Claiborne Ave., then turn right onto Cleveland St. Go four blocks to So. Saratoga St. and turn left.
From the West Bank of the Mississippi: Cross the Crescent City Connection bridge and take the Superdome exit. Turn right onto Cleveland St. Go four blocks to So. Saratoga St. and turn left.
From the airport: Take I-10 east. Keep right to stay on I-10, rather than going onto 610 toward Slidell. At the Superdome, take the Poydras St. exit. Turn left onto Claiborne Ave. and right onto Tulane Ave.

PARKING
Discounted parking and valet service are available to Tulane patients by calling (504) 988-7991 during business hours, Monday through Friday. The valet parking drop-off point is at the covered entrance to the Reily Pavilion of the Tulane University Hospital & Clinic Building, at the corner of Tulane Ave. and Saratoga St. Valet parking is available from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.

The ground floor of this building houses the Tulane Cancer Center Comprehensive Clinic, which can be reached via the elevators from the garage or the ground-floor pedestrian entrance and driveway on the other side of the building at 150 So. Liberty St. This building is connected to the Tulane University Hospital & Clinic Building by a 2nd-floor bridge, accessible to the public from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Friday and noon to 9:00 pm on weekends. During other hours, enter the hospital building via the ground-floor entrance at 1415 Tulane Ave.

The ground floor of this building houses the Tulane University Primary Care Clinic. This building is connected to the Tulane University Hospital & Clinic Building by a 2nd-floor bridge, open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm weekdays, and accessible during other hours via the courtesy phone adjacent to the entrance doors.

This garage is connected to the Tulane Medical School Building by 2nd-floor bridge that is not accessible to the public, but it is a two-block walk from the Tulane University Hospital & Clinic. Public parking is available in the Saratoga and LaSalle garages, which connect directly to the Tulane University Hospital & Clinic buildings next door.

The J. Bennett Johnston Building (JBJ) is located at 1324 Tulane Ave, New Orleans, LA, 70112-2699. The administrative and academic office of the Tulane Cancer Center is located on the mezzanine level (Floor 1A), and the cancer research laboratories on the fourth floor. The JBJ Building is also known by two other names: The Health and Environmental Research Building (HERB) and The Center for Bio-environmental Research Building(CBR): The office and labs of the Tulane/Xavier Center for Bio-environmental Research (CBR) occupy the ground floor. This building is connected to the Tulane Medical School Building by a second-story bridge. Access to this building is restricted; please call ahead and we will have someone meet you in the foyer; or enter the lobby of the Tulane Medical School building next door at 1430 Tulane Ave., and call us at 988-6060 from the courtesy phone there. Access to the mezzanine from the elevators is restricted for security reasons; please call ahead, or access the mezzanine via the stairs from the second floor or ground floor.

The Tulane Medical School Building is located 1430 Tulane Ave., New Orleans, LA 70112-2699, and houses the offices, classrooms, and labs of
the Tulane University Medical School (TUMS). This building is actually made up of three buildings, each with a different name: The oldest wing, on the corner of Tulane Ave. and LaSalle St. (behind the bridge in this picture), is the Hutchinson Memorial Building. To the rear of it is the Libby Memorial Building (not pictured here.) The wing on the corner of Tulane Ave. and South Liberty St. (front of this picture), is the Burthe-Cottam Building. The Tulane Medical School was founded in 1834 and is the 15th oldest medical school in the United States.

Two buildings make up the Tulane University Hospital and Clinic at 1415 Tulane Ave.

The Jane & Jack Aron Pavilion (left) houses the Tulane University Clinic (in the front of the building) and the Tulane University Hospital (in the rear of the building). Tulane Hospital was built in 1976 and houses 300 beds.
The Reily Pavilion (exterior view, center; and atrium, right) houses the administrative offices.
Hospital Maps & Floorplans
The Primary Care Clinic is located at 275 LaSalle St., on the ground floor of the La Salle St. parking garage, connected by a 2nd-floor pedestrian walkway to the Aron Pavilion wing of the Tulane University Hospital & Clinic.

The Deming Pavilion is located at the corner of Tulane Ave. and Loyola Ave. The upper floors are a dormitory for medical students; there are shops on the ground floor.

The Elks Place Building is located at 127 Elks Place.
Elks Place is a two-block stretch of the same street that is called Basin St. as you go downriver or Loyola Ave. as you go upriver.
This building houses the offices of Human Resources and Financial Services.

The DCI Building is located at the corner of So. Liberty St. and Canal St., adjacent to the Tidewater Building. A second-floor bridge over So. Liberty St. connects it to the Saratoga St. parking garage and the Tulane Cancer Center Comprehensive Clinic. It houses administrative offices and meeting rooms.

The Tidewater Building is located at 1440 Canal St., on the south (upriver and riverside) corner of Canal and LaSalle. It houses the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and the offices of Continuing Education, Office of Alumni Relations, Credit Union, the Office of Medical Center Advancement and the Photography Department.
The Tidewater Building also houses Xavier University College of Pharmacy's Drug Information Center, 8th floor


Located at 1700 Perdido St., at the corner of Clara St.,
this building houses the Department of
Medicine's
Section of Clinical Immunology, Allergy & Rheumatism and
Section of Infectious Diseases.

The U.S./Japan Biomedical Research Laboratories
at Tulane's F. Edward Hébert Center
Located near Belle Chasse, Louisiana on the West Bank of the Mississippi River at the English Turn, about ten miles below New Orleans.
The 550-acre Hébert Center includes research facilities for environmental science, medicine, behavioral sciences, and computer science.

Directions: Coming from New Orleans, cross the Mississippi River on the Crescent City Connection bridge. Take the General DeGaulle exit, eastbound. Go east on General DeGaulle about three miles. You will come to a traffic light at Woodland Drive; proceed straight, over the high-rise bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway. Follow the road as it curves until you reach a stop sign at the bottom of the bridge, then turn left onto Highway 406. Drive about half a mile until you see a blinking traffic light. At the light turn left onto F. Edward Hébert Boulevard. Drive about one mile to the stop sign at the dead end in front of the levee; then turn left and pass through the gate into the Tulane University Hébert Center. Drive about one mile until you see a large live-oak tree on your right near a stop sign. At the stop sign trun left onto the shell road. Then turn right onto Armadillo Road. The US/Japan Laboratories are in the third building on your right (Building 30).
