Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia is a rare (1/100000 per year) disease characterized
by a malignant proliferation of lymphoblasts. It is mostly a childhood disease,
with a peak incidence at age 3. It is usally diagnosed by examination of blood
and bone marrow samples. Examples of such are given below.
