SECTION 14

Chapter 14 (HOME)

Richard J. Reed, M.D., New Orleans, LA

You are at Section 14, Chapter 1. This section provides documentation of the clinical appearance of some of the disorders for which a histological characterization has been provided in the first 13 sections and in Section 15. In this section, the basic conventions have been modified to accommodate two, rather than three, tiers. There is no textual level as such in this section. One (blue) cluster of navigation bars is represented in the MASTERBORDER to the left. It provides access to the 1st tier, HOME, and to all of the pictorials of the second tier. A mauve cluster at the end of each page provides access to other sections on this site. A green cluster provides access to two web sites. Three additional aids are available at the end of the page. One of these aids will take the reader, if at tier 2 (clinical pictorials), to the next page in spatial sequence along the horizontal plane of the tier. Another aid  (BACK) will take the reader back one page in a spatial sequence at level 2. The third aid will take the viewer up to HOME, if he at level 2. The reader should also remember the navigation aids of his browser; they provide movement in a temporal sequence.

The Site Diagram is repeated below. Three tiers, beginning with Home (a single chapter identifying tier 1 and labeled “Site Diagram”), are represented. Tier 2 is devoted to textual material and tier 3 to pictorial material. Some of the chapters (emblems) are “parents” for pictorial chapters along tier3. This diagram is representative of the structure of the specific dummy section, SITE DIAGRAM . For this chapter, Chapter 14, there is no tier 3 and all the chapters of tier 2 are devoted to pictorials.
