Two week myocardial infarct

This is an acute myocardial infarct of 2 week duration. The heart is of a 76 year old man with 2 week history a history of chest pain. You will see a sharply demarcated lesion. White coagulation necrosis is mottled with hemorrhage. There is liquefaction necrosis at the periphery.
