healing infarct

This is an older embolus and a healing infarct. The upper arrow points out an artery that is completely obstructed by a thromboembolus now organizing. The lower arrow points out an infarct from which the blood pigment has been removed. It's now walled off by a thin wall of fibrol1s scar tissue.
