Proteins Visualized by Serum Protein Electophoresis

acute reaction proteins (ARP):

acute inflammation, trauma, necrosis, infarction, burns,

chemical injury, focal episodes associated with malignant

tumors: increase __1 antitrypsin, haptoglobin,

ceruloplasmin, CRP, C3, _ 1 acid glycoprotein, decrease

albumin, and transferin.

CRP - _- __ interface

Fibrinogen-not present in serum

Haptoglobin - _ 2

.___2 in ARP

_1 sometimes due to __1 antitrypsin

A (decreased liver synthesis) (not always)
