This website has been designed by Tulane's Community Medicine
Interest Group as an ongoing compilation of information on ALL
possible externships, divided into the following categories:
TULANE
- official programs, school requirements, contacts, etc.
INDEPENDENT
- (COMING SOON) - programs that Tulane students have independently
organized, completed, and evaluated.
POSSIBILITIES
- possible options that have not yet been "Tulane-tested"
including an AIDS-specific rotation list.
FUNDING
- options for getting money to help defray the costs of externships
away from Tulane.
ONLINE
EVALUATION - for returned Tulane
externees - please help us track your site and help others have

2002 ORIENTATION TO FOURTH YEAR
EXTERNSHIPS MEETING - March 18th, 2002 - If you missed
the meeting, check here for the basics that were presented, plus
a list of questions that were answered and who to contact to ask
your own questions.
AIDS Externships info from PHR/SGAC's
AIDS in Africa week. Tulane students presented personal stories
of working on AIDS related projects in Africa and information
about AIDS-specific rotations.
