Four-Week Electives for the Clinical Continuum - Department of Dermatology

 
  N.B.  Students from medical schools other than Tulane should apply for these clerkships by writing to both the Office of Student Affairs and Dr. Larry E. Millikan, Professor and Chairman, Department of Dermatology, Tulane University School of Medicine, l430 Tulane Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana  70ll2.

General Dermatology - Medical Center of Louisiana and Tulane Medical Center (MDDR DR C/T)

The student will participate in the outpatient clinics, conferences and consultative activities of Medical Center of Louisiana and Tulane Dermatology Service.

Location: Medical Center of Louisiana and Tulane Medical Center
Quota: 3 Students
Staff: Drs. Millikan, Shrum, Russo, Boh, Lewis, and Clinical Faculty

Special Dermatology - Tulane Medical Center (MDDR DR TMC)

Clinical Dermatology

Location: Primarily TMC
Quota: 2 Students
Staff: Drs. Millikan, Shrum, Russo, Boh, and Lewis

Special Dermatology Research - Tulane Medical School (MDDR RES TMS)

Special Dermatology Selective clerkships are a more intense experience with closer one-on-one staff/student exposure.  Through this mechanism, students with a career interest in Dermatology can have a more meaningful rotation than is the case with the usual general rotation.
