Goals and Objectives

  1. By comparing and contrasting uncomplicated and complicated patterns of grief (using real life examples and grief artwork) the student will become familiar with distinguishing between these patterns in grieving patients.
  2. The student will be familiar with the definition of complicated grief, the factors that contribute towards its development, and methods of coping/treatment available to the patient.
