Key To Chart

DEADLINE All rank lists -- from both applicants and programs -- are due on this date. Your list must be in our office by 12pm (noon) PST.
RESULTS
(programs)
Results are released to programs and deans offices via fax by 8am on this date. Programs are given one full business day to contact the matched applicants, before SFMatch will provide results to applicants directly.
RESULTS
(applicants)
Applicants who do not yet know their result may call our office on this date to receive it directly. Call (415) 447-0350 and press '0' at the opening menu to speak with a Match Representative (between 8am - 4:30pm PST).
VACANCIES Any vacancies that remain open after the match will be announced on this date via this web site. We only list vacancies of programs that remain unfilled during the match and that have indicated a willingness to accept applications for the unfilled positions. Not all programs decide to list their vacancy. Since these post-match vacancies are outside the scope of the match, applicants must negotiate directly with the programs regarding any documentation that they require.
BEGINS Training usually begins on July 1 of the year indicated. Matched applicants must contact the program directly for contract information and starting dates.
