Biography
Marcia Glass joined the Tulane University Health Sciences Center and the Tulane University Medical School faculty in 2006 with an appointment as a clinical instructor in the Department of Medicine. Later that year, she worked for six months in Liberia with Doctors without Borders.       
Dr. Glass is actively involved in clinical practice as a hospitalist at TUHC and in education as an instructor of residents and medical students.  She has presented in multiple SGIM and SSGIM conferences and most recently served as a peer advisor during the New Orleans 2008 SSGIM meeting. 

As a member of Physicians for Social Responsibility, Physicians for Human Rights, Amnesty International, and Doctors without Borders, she is also strongly committed to healthcare reform and international relief efforts. 

Research Interests
Her research interests currently involve HIV/STD risk-factor reduction in Western Africa.
