Biography
Dr. Alicia Diaz-Thomas is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Pediatrics and the Section of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, where she studied English Literature. Dr. Diaz-Thomas then received a Medical Doctorate at Tulane University School of Medicine and her Masters in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She then completed her residency training at Tulane University Health Sciences Center in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

Dr. Diaz-Thomas joined the faculty of the Department of Medicine in 2002. She is active in the Section of General Internal Medicine and Geriatric teaching program, including the medicine inpatient ward service and consult service at the Tulane University Health Sciences Center.

Clinical Interests
Her clinical interests are in pediatrics and internal medicine.
