Biography
Dr. Michael Landry joined the Tulane University Health Sciences Center and the Tulane University Medical School faculty in 2002, with a dual appointment in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He also serves as Director of the Internal Medicine Resident Clinic at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Landry is actively involved in educating medical students and residents as well as proving patient care and performing clinical research. He currently serves as the Course Director for the Interdisciplinary Seminar Series for third and fourth year medical students, a newly developed course for the 2004-2005 academic year.
Dr. Landry has presented to several local and national audiences and is a reviewer for several national journals. His community highlights include serving as Medical Director of the Louisiana Pulmonary Disease Camp, Inc. and the Medical Director for the American Diabetes Association Summer Camp.
Research Interests
Dr. Landry's clinical research interests involve care of children and adults with chronic medical conditions and the transition of care from pediatric to adult healthcare providers and health systems.
