Biography
Dr. Ernest Sneed is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Tulane University School of Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Sneed matriculated to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, where he received his Medical Doctorate. He completed his medical residency at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

Dr. Sneed joined the faculty in the Department of Medicine in 1997. He serves as a staff physician and clinical instructor for students and residents. Dr. Sneed is interested in health literacy. He writes a bi-weekly column, on general health issues, which is published in over 60 newspapers throughout Louisiana.
