Biography
Dr. Alegra Venditto is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at the Tulane University School of Medicine. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida where she studied Biology and Chemistry. In 2000, she graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine where she obtained her Medical Doctorate. In 2003, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Tulane University Health Sciences Center.

Dr. Venditto joined the faculty of the Department of Medicine in July 2003 and currently works at the Internal Medicine Practice at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic. She also attends the wards at Tulane University Hospital where she enjoys teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Venditto is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of General Internal Medicine.

Clinical Interests
Her clinical interests include the management of patients with chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, and hyperlipidemia.
