Residency Training
General Information The Tulane Orthopaedic Residency Program offers comprehensive education, experience, and care facilities for both general and specialty othopaedics. Six applicants are selected each year to complete five years of training in orthopaedics. Residents are supervised by attending and research staff with expertise and training in various orthopaedic sub-specialties. POST-KATRINA UPDATE Due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina in the Greater New Orleans area, the Tulane orthopaedic residents have been temporarily relocated to other training programs. Our progam shall return to New Orleans on the first of July, 2006. How To Apply for the Match -- Our department will select candidates who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and research abilities. Please submit all the documents listed below with your application. Only completed applications will be considered.
The Department participates in ERAS, the Electronic Residency Application Service. ALL applications must be received through this electronic medium.
