Welcome to Tulane Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery!

As we enter our 92 nd year, we have the privilege of reflecting upon our traditions as well as looking forward to the future. Centered in New Orleans, we serve as a vital resource providing otolaryngology care for both public and private patients. Our downtown campus as well as historic affiliations with the Ochsner Clinic, Charity Hospital, and the Veterans Administration Hospital has provided the framework for outstanding resident educational experience.

As we enter our fourth year after Hurricane Katrina, we look forward to be an integral part of rebuilding New Orleans. We anticipate reopening our public clinics at Charity Hospital and look forward to serving our community at need. Active collaboration with the Tulane School of Public Health and all of our affiliated sites will allow our team to design effective treatment algorithms that will serve all of our patient populations.

In this time, our challenges at a local and national level are great. The solutions are waiting to be discovered. It is my goal to have this department play and integral part in the rational reshaping of our health care system. We look forward to working with those who dare to take this challenge.
