Richard E. Harlan, Ph.D.
Professor

Director, Neuroscience Program
harlanre@tulane.edu

Research Interests:

Neurobiology of opiate actions. In one major project, we study the neural circuitry that is activated in response to acute injection of opiates, particularly morphine. In a second major project, we study the rewarding properties of opiates using behavioral tests.
