The mission of the Urology Department is to conduct educational programs of the highest quality, which will result in academically and clinically prepared urologists to satisfy regional, national, and international needs in urology; to provide and maintain facilities in which the highest quality, individualized patient care can be delivered; to provide an atmosphere and resources conducive to basic and applied urologic research; and to provide continuing education programs for urologists regionally, nationally, and internationally.
