Service Learning Option: Students may do a service learning option if they wish. Please speak to me after the first class if you wish to do this option.

Course Requirements: There will be one Mid-term and a Final Exam and four in class pop quizzes which cannot be made up. Students are expected to read each assignment, attend all classes, and participate in all classes.

Course Goals and Objectives: students will learn to observe social phenomena by employing repertoire of sociological concepts.
