B. Bernard Weinstein Memorial Lecture and Banquet
75th Anniversary Celebration
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the History of Medicine Society at Tulane. To celebrate this occasion, HOMS is proud to announce that this year's B. Bernard Weinstein Memorial Lecture and Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 6pm at the Plimsoll Club, in the World Trade Center of New Orleans.
Dr. Benjamin P. Sachs, Dean of the Tulane University School of Medicine, will deliver the keynote lecture entitled: "History of the Hippocratic Oath: From Hippocrates to Maimonides."
The evening features entertainment by the Tulane Medical School Ensemble of T2s Dan Chen, Glenn Fernandez, France Fung and Nels Gerhardt and a fabulous meal catered by the Plimsoll Club. Student tickets are only $20 thanks to the generous contributions of the Weinstein family, in memory of B. Bernard Weinstein, one of the ten founding members of the organization.
