Our Supporters
Thanks!
The History of Medicine Society at Tulane is fortunate to receive support for its activities from several sources. HOMS receives monies from Tulane as distributed by the Medical Student Government. Additionally, several endowments help fund the annual student paper contest and the B. Bernard Weinstein Memorial Lecture and Banquet. Finally, HOMS benefits greatly from the generous and continued contributions of the Weinstein family. The tradition of support begun by B. Bernard Weinstein and his wife Clarice, is maintained by their sons and daughters who join HOMS at the annual banquet and continue to contribute to the Weinstein endowment, enabling HOMS to offer more activities to the Tulane community.
Interested in Supporting HOMS?
If you would like to help HOMS continue to offer programing in the history of medicine, your support is appreciated. First and second year students are encouraged to get involved with the leadership of HOMS. Students, faculty, and deans are encouraged to attend any and all events. Monetary donations and endowments should be directed through the Tulane Office of Development or directly through our advisor at Tulane, the Reverend Doctor Donald Owens.
