This facility is funded by the Louisiana NeuroBiotechnology Initiative, which was established by the Louisiana Legislature in 2002. This consortium consists of more than 20 neuroscientists from both Tulane and LSU. As a member of the consortium, Tulane has received approximately $1.5 million to establish this core facility.
