Roadmap to Residency: From Application to the Match and Beyond 2nd Edition

This second edition (2007) of the AAMC "Roadmap to Residency: From Application to the Match and Beyond" document provides comprehensive information about the process of making application to graduate medical education programs in the United States. It includes a description of candidacy requirements, factors involved in specialty choice, possible criteria for residency selection, and information about matching processes, program visits, and potential application outcomes, as well as about the transition from medical school to residency. The document also includes a bibliography of valuable print resources and a "webliography" of useful Web resources. It was created to provide information for all applicants to U.S. residency programs, whether they are enrolled in, or graduates of, medical schools located in the United States or in other countries.
