Adult Cystic Fibrosis
Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Environmental Medicine, Tulane University Health Sciences Center is seeking a full-time academic position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to direct the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center. The successful applicant must be board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and licensed to practice in United States. This position has excellent opportunities for research collaboration with a strong Department of Microbiology and Immunology, the Tulane Primate Center, and Center for Gene Therapy. The appointee will participate in academic teaching for medical students, residents and pulmonary/critical care fellowship program.
Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine
Pulmonary/Critical Care at Tulane University Health Sciences Center is seeking a board certified/eligible physician at the Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor level in both Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. This individual will be responsible for patient care and teaching. Tulane has an outstanding faculty training program for clinical research and this position offers ample protected time for research. The medical center is growing rapidly and construction of a new 22 bed ICU is nearing completion. Post Doctoral Position
A Post Doctoral position is available to train in the basic mechanisms of lung disease. This opportunity is broad and may include working with a senior mentor on aging, stem cells, viruses, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, inflammation, lung cancer, bioengineering or epigenetics. The postdoctoral fellow will spend a minimum of two years in research training, supported by an NIH-level stipend.Qualified applicants must present evidence of an earned M.D. or Ph.D. degree. They must be a U.S citizen, non-citizen national of the U.S., or must have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence. Successful applicants can start immediately.
