Dr. Rubio has advanced training in Interventional Pulmonology, including rigid bronchoscopy, laser therapy, cryotherapy, airway stenting, percutaneous tracheostomy and thoracoscopy to name some. Some of his interests include the interventional approach and use of new techniques in the treatment of pleural effusions, airway tumors, and emphysema.

 

Other interests include critical illness, asthma and sleep disorders.
