Centralized Tulane Imaging Center

The objective of the CTIC is to provide Tulane faculty, students and trainees with a state-of-the-art imaging facility capable of publication and presentation quality images made on film or paper from tissue samples, tissue sections on slides, cultured cells on dish or slides and other laboratory samples. You may request information from the CTIC by visiting their website.

Equipment at the CTIC includes an Olympus IX70 Inverted Microscope which allows examination of cells growing in Petri dishes, chamber slides, and/or small flasks. Generated images can be printed directly or first subjected to morphometric analysis.
